A New Baby Sister

By Jason McCarthy

On Tuesday, September 12, 2004, my sister Molly Rae was born.  It was an exciting day for me.

I was in school that day.  My Grandpa came to pick me up and told me that my mom and dad were at the hospital having the baby.

I spent the night at my Grandpa’s house.  In the morning my Dad came over and told me that I had a new baby sister.  He took me to visit my Mom and Molly.

The next day my Mom and Molly came home.

This week we read a great short story. If you could be any of the characters in this story, which would you be and why?
